Jatayu machines use a dedicated 20 HP auxiliary engine, with Mitsubishi engine configurations, so operators can match suction power to the waste in front of them. Because suction should not depend on leftover vehicle power.
How the Variable RPM Auxiliary Engine Works
The auxiliary engine powers suction separately from the vehicle engine, while the variable RPM knob lets the operator control how much suction is needed for each waste condition. Full power for heavy pickup, lower RPM when the load is lighter.
Dedicated Power
The auxiliary 20 HP engine powers the suction system separately from the carrier vehicle. Its job is suction, not vehicle movement.
Full Throttle
For heavy, wet, or stubborn waste, the operator can increase RPM to generate stronger suction at the nozzle.
Dial Down
For lighter waste or easier pickup, the operator can reduce RPM instead of running the engine at full power all the time.
Independent Operation
Because suction has its own engine, the machine does not depend on the vehicle engine for vacuum performance. Driving, stopping, or idling does not affect suction strength.

Running at full throttle all the time creates unnecessary sound when the waste load is light. Variable RPM lets the operator dial down the engine when high suction is not required, reducing avoidable operating noise.
